On 28th November 2024, Taskeen as part of Pakistan Mental Health Coalition (PMHC) organised its 3rd annual general body event to share insights, discuss the current mental health landscape in Pakistan, and foster collaboration between organisations. This year’s multisectoral gathering brought together prominent civil society members and government stakeholders including SIEHS.
During the event, PMHC’s achievements were discussed, including the launch of Milkar, a nationwide campaign to break the stigma surrounding mental health. The discussion also featured PMHC’ mental health service directory that serves as a platform for mental health professionals to register and offer their services. The event provided a platform for collaboration among mental health professionals, organisations and individuals committed to creating impact in the mental health sector. The PMHC is proud to continue its mission of raising awareness and advocating for mental health rights in Pakistan.
