From January 5th to 17th, 2025, Taskeen Health Initiative conducted field visits to Peshawar, Quetta, and Chaman as part of the ongoing PEACE Program for refugees and host communities, in collaboration with GIZ Pakistan.
The primary objective of these visits was to assess the program’s progress and provide technical support to enhance its impact. The team accompanied psychologists and Community Wellbeing Mentors (CWMs) to evaluate their effectiveness in raising mental health awareness, conducting screenings, and delivering lay counseling services.
Representatives from GIZ Pakistan and implementation partners, Sabawon and WESS, also participated in the visits. Following the field assessments, the Taskeen team debriefed them on key observations and challenges encountered.
