On 11th October 2024, the Advocacy Team met with Khadija Bukhari (Lawyer & Director of Litigation and Advocacy at Musawi) and Muhammad Rehan Safder (Research and M&E Officer at Musawi) at the Taskeen Office to gain legal and policy insights on the decriminalization of suicide and its implementation in Pakistan.
On 29th October, Taskeen’s CEO, Irfan Mustafa, held a follow-up meeting with Khadija Bukhari at Musawi office to discuss establishing a partnership between Taskeen and Musawi and signing an MOU between the two organizations.
Musawi (https://musawi.org/) is a Lahore-based organization dedicated to community development and social justice, with a particular focus on women’s and minority rights, amplifying the voices of marginalized communities.
