Dr. Taha Sabri Co-Chairs GMHAN’s Stigma and Discrimination Working Group

Taskeen’s COO and Co-founder, Dr. Taha Sabri is now part of the Global Mental Health Action Network’s new Working Group that will focus on tackling mental health-related stigma and discrimination. The Stigma and Discrimination Working Group aims to facilitate peer learning and share evidence-based approaches, enabling members to challenge mental health stigma and discrimination in their local and global communities, with a particular emphasis on low-resource settings. The co-chairs of this new group are: Sue Baker (Changing Minds Globally), Taha Sabri (Taskeen Health Initiative), and Judy Kariuki (BasicNeeds BasicRights Kenya).
