Taskeen has been advocating mental health in Pakistan for a long time, we encourage fellow citizens to speak up about the issues they are facing which are affecting their mental health.
As the global pandemic increase, Pakistan saw a major increase in mental health issue related to COVID. This increased the demand of Mental health services which resulted in initiation of covid mh response in Pakistan, started as www.covidmh.pk
We took it a step further and brought up this issue globally through Speak Your Mind Campaign
In this campaign, United for Global Mental Health and partners from 19 other countries, with over 60 campaigners participated for 1 goal, to advocate global mental health, Taskeen participated in the International Open Letter Campaign for mental health
In this campaign, Taskeen and its international partners called world leaders in open letter to include Mental Health in all Covid-19 responses around the world.
Taskeen aims to ensure that everyone in Pakistan has somebody to turn to.
