Initiating School Wellbeing Program in Islamabad

Taskeen, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, spearheads the launch of a comprehensive school well-being program across 25 government schools in Islamabad. Dr. Taha Sabri launched the initiative during a significant event graced by the presence of Special Secretary for Education and Training Mohiuddin Wani amidst school headmasters and headmistresses.

Our comprehensive initiative within schools aims to empower administration, teachers, students, and parents alike, fostering a nurturing environment for sustained mental health and well-being.

This is a complete program to handle mental stress and mood issues with the following services offered:

Confidential Support: Our trained professionals offer a safe space to discuss any mental health concerns, from stress and anxiety to depression and beyond.

Emotional Guidance: Receive empathetic guidance and practical coping strategies tailored to your individual needs.

Resource Referral: Gain access to additional mental health resources and services available in the Islamabad area.

Implementing this program in schools can have a profound impact on students and the overall school community. By providing accessible support and resources, this program will foster a positive and inclusive school climate where students feel valued and understood.

Academic outcomes may improve as mental health issues are addressed, allowing students to fully engage in learning without the interference of emotional distress. Furthermore, early intervention will prevent the escalation of mental health concerns, promoting long-term well-being. Through open discussions and stigma reduction efforts, students will be encouraged to seek help when needed, leading to healthier coping skills and stronger relationships.

Ultimately, investing in students’ mental health will not only benefit their current well-being but also lay the foundation for lifelong resilience and success.
