Purple Tuesday is celebrated to raise awareness for individuals with disabilities. Recently, this meaningful day was commemorated at the ACELP Institute of Child Development, in partnership with the Fehmida Begum Foundation, Cosaraf charitable foundation, and CareTech. The event included insightful opening remarks and speeches from the collaborating organizations, including Taskeen, which focused on spreading awareness about mental health and its crucial importance for individuals with special abilities. The students from both institutions actively participated, presenting informative tableaus and showcasing their impressive creations, such as block-printed items, tote bags, and woven blankets—all available for purchase. Beyond the exhibitions, various enjoyable activities were organized, recognizing and awarding certificates for exceptional performances by students throughout the past year. The celebration reached its pinnacle with a heartwarming cake-cutting ceremony, adding a special touch to this momentous day.
