On 30th May 2024, Taskeen organized and attended PMHC’s Quality Standard & Advocacy Subcommittee’s 3rd stakeholder event on developing ethical principles and code of conduct for mental health professionals. The event brought together experts in the field from prominent mental health service providers to the leading academic and training institutes in the mental health sector. Guided by Taskeen, British Asian Trust, Sehat Kahani and PILL, the participants revisited the Ethical Principles for Mental Health Professionals developed by the group in preceding events in 2023, and developed a standardized and contextually relevant Code of Conduct for mental health professionals in Pakistan.
