Taskeen Health Initiative Representatives Attend WHO’s EASE Training in Istanbul

Taskeen Health Initiative is committed to the professional growth of its employees, providing them with opportunities to enhance their skills and expertise. As part of this commitment, Ms. Nuvera Mukaty and Ms. Komal Saleem from Taskeen Health Initiative participated in the Early Adolescent Skills for Emotions (EASE) training, organized by the World Health Organization (WHO) Geneva Office in Istanbul, Turkey.

This two-week program focused on evidence-based psychological interventions designed to support adolescents aged 10-15 experiencing stress, anxiety, and depressive symptoms. The training equipped participants with the practical skills needed to become Master Trainers, empowering them to train a cadre of non-specialised helpers or lay counsellors to help young individuals and their caregivers manage stress through structured intervention group sessions.

Taskeen aims to integrate the EASE program into its adolescent-focused interventions, further strengthening its commitment to mental health.
