As schools reopen for the new academic year this August, Taskeen has successfully launched Level 2 of its School Wellbeing Program at FEMT Schools in Karachi, marking a significant step forward in promoting mental health and wellbeing among teachers. Building on the foundation laid by Level 1, which focused on intrapersonal skills, Level 2 expands the program to develop essential interpersonal skills. This phase of the program, adapted from the UNICEF Life Skills curriculum, is designed to equip teachers with the tools needed to build healthier relationships and communicate effectively.
The rollout at FEMT Schools has been met with enthusiasm from both teachers and management, as the program introduces interactive sessions and practical exercises aimed at enhancing social skills and empathy. By integrating these crucial life skills into the school environment, Taskeen aims to create a supportive atmosphere where teachers can thrive emotionally and socially, , while laying the groundwork for a healthier, more connected community.
