Taskeen, in collaboration with the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination (NHSRC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), presented the National Mental Health Policy during a high-level meeting of the Mental Health Subcommittee, convened under the Working Group on Non-Communicable Diseases and held at the WHO Office in Pakistan. The meeting focused on in-depth discussions regarding the policy’s framework, implementation, and future directions. This groundbreaking initiative marks a significant step toward mental health inclusion and stigma reduction in Pakistan.
