We’re proud to share that Dr Taha Sabri, co-founder of Taskeen, represented civil society from Pakistan at the Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit in Doha.

This landmark gathering brought together policymakers, ministers of health, and global organisations to shape the future of mental health. At the summit, Dr Taha led a workshop on best practices for stigma reduction campaigns, recognising Taskeen’s pioneering role in reducing stigma in Pakistan and across the Eastern Mediterranean region. He also met with Minister of State for National Health Services Dr. Malik Mukhtar Ahmad Bharath to explore opportunities for collaboration in advancing mental health in Pakistan.

We are deeply grateful to our partners United for Global Mental Health, GMHAN, WHO EMRO, Embrace Lebanon, and the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulation and Coordination for their support.

A special thank you to Antonis Kouskolis, Sue Baker, Dalia Elasi, Ali Husnain, Divya Sharma, Myriam Zarour, Naeem Akhtar, Saira Kanwal, and Sarah Kline for their continued encouragement and collaboration.Taskeen remains committed to its vision of building a happier and healthier Pakistan, and this milestone marks another step forward in our collective journey to break barriers and transform mental health for all.
