Strong Minds Screening with Special Olympics Pakistan

On 7th October, an orientation session for the Special Olympics Healthy Athletes Strong Minds program was held at Bahria University Lahore for undergraduate and master’s students of psychology.

The activity was led by Dr. Mahrukh Iftikhar, Clinical Director of the Strong Minds program.

On 8th October, Strong Minds screenings were conducted for 31 athletes at the Lahore Garrison School of Special Education, followed by screenings for 35 athletes on 9th October at the Special Education and Training Center (SETC). Both screening sessions were facilitated by 16 dedicated volunteers.

At the conclusion of the program, certificates of appreciation were awarded to all volunteers in recognition of their valuable contributions. This initiative achieved the highest number of Strong Minds screenings among all Healthy Athletes programs in Pakistan.
