Taskeen was honoured to host William Harnden and Ben Leatham from Connected Development a partner of the Vitol Foundation for a five-day immersive visit at our Karachi office. This engagement was part of Connected Development’s internationally recognised accompaniment model, which emphasises relationship‑building, deep listening, and understanding the lived realities of locally led organisations.

During their stay, William and engaged closely with every department at Taskeen, including our leadership team, CEO, Dr Rubeena Kidwai and COO, Dr Taha Sabri and all programmatic and support departments. These comprehensive interactions provided them with an in‑depth view of our internal processes, strategic objectives, and organisational culture.

Connected Development’s accompaniment courses are designed to build financial sustainability, impact frameworks, and effective donor‑nonprofit partnerships. This visit marked the beginning of a nine‑month accompaniment journey, during which Connected Development will work closely with Taskeen to enhance our financial resilience, refine impact strategies, and deepen our collaborative systems across departments.

At Taskeen, we’re truly grateful for Connected Development’s thoughtful, locally rooted partnership approach and for the trust extended by the Vitol Foundation. We look forward to embarking on this transformational nine‑month journey together, amplifying our shared mission to strengthen mental health advocacy and community well‑being in Pakistan.
