Relationship Problems

In order to live we need food to eat, water to drink and air to breathe. If we don’t get sufficient amounts of these then our body will not receive the required nourishment that it needs to grow. Similarly, healthy relationships are also essential for us to thrive since they provide nourishment for the soul. Just like being hungry or thirsty can cause us discomfort, when we have problems in our relationships they can be a source of great distress to us.

We can have relationship issues with anyone. It can be with our parents, siblings, friends, colleagues or partners/spouses. The problems can arise because one or both parties may have wronged the other in some way or not fulfilled their expectations. Often relationship problems occur because people may vent the distress they are experiencing on others even though the victim may have had nothing to do with the problems causing the distress.
