Covid-19 with its continuing unprecedented affect on physical health, triggered mental health issues around the globe.
Globally, many institution and organization realized the impacts of covid on mental health and initiated public mental health information campaign.
To understand the paradigm adopted globally, a webinar was conducted by United for Global Mental Health, (UGMH) Lancet Psychiatry. Where officials representing different organization took part and discussed their initiatives.
Representative from WHO , Public health England , Sangut India and Taskeen Health Initiative from Pakistan took part in the discussion.
Co-founder Taskeen, Taha Sabri was part of this esteemed panel, where he discussed the informational campaigns strategized and executed by Taskeen.
From producing high quality animations to partnering up with organizations to form a coalition on covid related mental health issues he talked about the initiative Taskeen has taken.
Mentioning the lower sector he also informed about the compact households and lack of water which contradicts with the idea of social distancing and washing hands after every 10 minutes for 20 seconds
Taha Sabri also questioned the impact of messages either it is designed for the masses or for the few .
