As part of the Wellbeing Initiative for Nurturing Generations through School (WINGS) program, the Taskeen Community team visited three schools – DIL Secondary School Korangi, operational under Developments in Literacy, Al-Furqan School PECHS operational under Al-Furqan Welfare Organization and Rahnuma Public School Azam Town operational under Path Education Society, on 18th, 26th and 27th March. These visits aimed to assess the school landscape for the feasibility of implementing the WINGS intervention.
The engagement provided valuable insights into the schools, helping the team understand the specific needs and challenges. Additionally, the visit facilitated discussions with school administrators, strengthening collaboration and laying the groundwork for an effective implementation of the WINGS program to promote mental well-being in school settings.
